The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an independent certification scheme designed to certify microgeneration products and installers in accordance with consistent standards. The scheme was launched by the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory. The MCS mark guarantees that Safe & Protect Solar follow a code of practice that meets the guidelines set by the Office of Fair Trading Consumer Code Approval Scheme.

The Energy Saving Trust Foundation gives impartial, accurate and independent advice on how to reduce carbon emissions and save money on energy bills. Their status as an independent, charitable foundation allows them to protect consumer interests whilst working in partnership with government, local authorities, third sector organisations and businesses.
